Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Oct 8, 2026

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work on Crowned. It forms part of the Terms of Service. Payments on Crowned are made to the creator whose page you pay on; refunds are issued by Crowned through our payment provider, Stripe.

1. Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel a subscription at any time from your subscription page, which is linked from the confirmation shown after payment and from every receipt and invoice. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for, and no further payments are taken after that. You are not charged again after that, and no refund is given for the period already paid, except as set out below or required by applicable law.

A creator may also end a subscription with effect from the end of the paid period. If a creator deletes their account or it is closed, running subscriptions end at the close of their paid period and are not charged again; a subscription whose renewal payment had failed ends at once, and nothing further is charged.

2. When refunds are given

There is no self-service refund. Refunds are issued by Crowned, in full for the payment concerned, where:

  • a payment was charged in error or duplicated;
  • a payment was not authorised by the cardholder;
  • the creator's page or the item materially misdescribed what the payment was for, in breach of our Acceptable Use Policy;
  • a refund is required by applicable law or by card scheme rules.

Outside these cases, refunds are at Crowned's reasonable discretion. Partial refunds are not offered. The treatment of fees within a refund is determined in accordance with applicable law and card scheme rules.

To request a refund, contact support@crowned.net with the receipt or payment reference from your confirmation email and a short description of the issue. We aim to respond promptly and will keep you informed of the outcome.

3. EU, EEA, and UK consumers: right of withdrawal

Consumer law in the EU, EEA and UK gives consumers a 14-day right to withdraw from distance contracts for goods, services and digital content. A payment on Crowned is money you choose to send to a creator, with nothing supplied to you in return through Crowned, so it is not such a contract and no withdrawal period runs from it. Where applicable law nonetheless gives you a right of withdrawal and you exercise it in time, you will be refunded in accordance with that law. Nothing in this policy limits statutory rights that cannot be waived.

4. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us first at support@crowned.net; most issues are resolved faster this way than through a card dispute. You agree not to make unjustified chargeback requests. Where we determine a chargeback was made in bad faith, we may restrict future payments, in accordance with applicable law and card scheme rules.

5. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on Crowned. Changes do not affect refund requests already submitted.
