Crowned respects intellectual property rights and expects creators to do the same. Creators warrant that they own or have the rights to everything they publish on Crowned.
1. Reporting infringement
If you believe content on Crowned infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, send a notice to copyright@crowned.net including:
- identification of the protected work;
- the link to the content on Crowned you believe infringes it;
- your name, address, and email;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury where applicable, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them;
- your physical or electronic signature.
We act on valid notices expeditiously and in accordance with applicable law, including removing or disabling access to the content concerned and notifying the creator.
2. Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to copyright@crowned.net with your contact details, identification of the removed content, a statement under penalty of perjury where applicable that you have a good-faith belief the removal was mistaken, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the applicable courts. We handle counter-notices in accordance with applicable law, which may include restoring the content unless the original reporter initiates proceedings.
3. Repeat infringers
Accounts of creators who repeatedly infringe intellectual property rights are terminated in appropriate circumstances, in accordance with applicable law.
